Transferring photos from iPhone to Mac often says “Failed” on the phone, but the items had already transferred to my Downloads folder on the Mac successfully. IOS 26.5, OS 10.12 (Sierra).
I have also been having intermittent problems with Airdrop recently - it appears to fail but actually works. Grr!
I use AirDrop to transfer the occasional iPhone photo to my Mac. I have a folder action set up that moves them from the Downloads folder to my Desktop so I can see straight away if it has worked. No problems so far!
That’s a good idea. I open my Downloads folder (with a function key a la Keyboard Maestro) before sending, so can seen the results as they occur. The icons fill in when upload is complete.
Curious how AirDrop thinks it’s failed…when it hasn’t.
