Flying Meat has issued Acorn 8.6.2 with a couple of new screenshot features. The image editor adds an option to Acorn’s Dock menu to take a layered screenshot of all your open windows, as well as adds a -screenshot argument to the Acorn shell tool that will take a screenshot of open windows (run acorn -h to get a full list of available options). The release also sets filter presets straight so they properly respect the canvas selection on bitmap layers; no longer adds unnecessary extra pixels to bitmap layers when exporting as PSD images (keeping files smaller); updates the x/y labels in the Crop, Scale Layer, Perspective Transform, and Smart Layer Export palettes for better consistency; addresses a problem where the clone tool would draw little artifacts when the blending opacity was less than 100%; and resolves an issue that might prevent smudge from working correctly in future versions of macOS.
