macOS High Sierra and untrusted certificates

Michael Curtis
Hi,

Apple seem to have changed the way Safari 11 handles self signed or untrusted certificates. This is fine for most people, but I have a lot of internal systems that use self signed certificates. Before upgrading to macOS High Sierra, Safari 11 would allow me to continue, enter my local password and trust the certificate. Since upgrading to macOS High Sierra, I can do the same thing, but I never get the site. I just end up in a loop of continuing and entering my password. The certificate would seem to be trusted in Keychain, but I never get the site. Has anyone else seen this? I have to use Chrome to manage the sites.

Best wishes

Michael
