Stylus with Magic Trackpad?

Paul Brians
I do a lot of photo editing and prefer a trackpad to a mouse. I have arthritis and occasional tremor, and a stylus-driven trackpad gives me the fine control I want. I’ve exchanged my Wacom trackpad (wrong size and shape) for a new Apple Magic Pad, which is of course meant to be used with the fingers; but I’ve been told by several people that it is possible to use a stylus with it providing you get the right one. But nobody has been able to identify a specific one I could get.

Can any of you help?

I think any stylus that will work with an iOS device will work with the Magic Trackpad. The trouble is, so much of the utility of the trackpad is the multi touch gestures.

I found that that the soft stylus on the other end of a promotion pen worked fine. However, my fancier Adonit with a sharp point behind a plastic disk failed. So I would advise trying a cheap soft stylus and seeing if it meets your needs.
