Files App

Alan Hedin-2
I just noticed a peculiar difference between my iPad and iPhone with the Files app (both upgraded to 11.1.1) that is fairly recent.  On my iPad when I press Recents it shows nothing.  On my iPhone there are a number of items.  Similarly if I do a search for a colored tag on the iPad it shows nothing.  On the iPhone it finds files.  I am definitely connected to iCloud because if I change a file or colored tag on my Mac it shows up on the iPad and iPhone.  I have forced reboot a couple of times (simultaneous press of sleep and home button) on the iPad.  I wonder if there is a new bug in 11.1.1 or if something has gone wrong with my iPad.

Hi Alan,

I checked the Files App on my iPhone and iPad Air and all was well under 11.1. I then updated both to 11.1.1. Everything works as expected, so it would appear the problem is, unfortunately, unique to you.
